NOTE: I've converted To HIS Glory "Bible Book Memorization" to Java and working on converting To HIS Glory "Bible Verses Memorization, for CBI's BD-101" and To HIS Glory "Flashcards" to Java. Java is a multi-platform language; enabling others (i.e. Apple, Linux, Unix, Windows, ... users) to use these programs. There are other benefits from a programming standpoint also. Soon, I'll leave links to instruct on downloading Java for your operating system; if not already installed on your system.

Currently I have four programs available for download:

  1. Free Borland C/C++ Compiler 5.5 Plug-in for POW!.
  2. To HIS Glory "Bible Book Memorization" version 1.00.
  3. To HIS Glory "Bible Verses Memorization, for CBI's BD-101" version 1.07.
  4. To HIS Glory "Flashcards" version 1.03, or Cherith Bible Institute's Course Tutor (Lectures 1 - 5).

Free Borland C/C++ Compiler 5.5 PlugIn for POW!

The free Borland C/C++ Compiler 5.5 plugin for the Programmers Open Workbench (POW!). POW! is an easy to use IDE, and with the above plugin, able to use Borland's C/C++ Compiler 5.5.

Here's a screenshot of the POW! compiling a console.c program and executing it.

You need to download three items:

  1. Borland C/C++ Compiler 5.5,
  2. POW! (Pow32_30b.exe, Pow32_30b.w02, Pow32_30b.w03, and Pow32_30b.w04), and
  3. Borland C/C++ Compiler 5.5 PlugIn for POW! B55POWPI.zip.

Instructions for the files required, installation, and setup are in the BCC55.hlp within the B55POWPI.zip.

To HIS Glory "Bible Book Memorization" is a Windows console application providing a means to memorize the books of the Bible.  It is based on another console application I wrote called To HIS Glory "Flashcards".

To HIS Glory "Bible Verses Memorization, for CBI's BD-101" version 1.07

To HIS Glory "Bible Verses Memorization, for CBI's BD-101" is a console application providing a means to memorize the verses of the Bible required by Cherith Bible Institute's (CBI) BD-101 Bible Doctrines (Unit One) course. It is based on another console application I wrote called To HIS Glory "Bible Book Memorization".

Version 1.07 contains lectures 1 thru 5 from CBI's BD-101.

I'll try to update this program as soon as each new Lecture comes out. So come back weekly to download newer versions.

Version 1.06 and above also contains a new command "AGAIN". It is documented in the "HELP" command. "AGAIN" allows you to goto the beginning of the current Lecture and verse without typing "GOTO Lecture <lecture number>, verse  <verse number>".

To HIS Glory "Flashcards" version 1.03, or Cherith Bible Institute's Course Tutor

To HIS Glory "Flashcards" is a Windows console application providing a means to memorize anything.  This is the program that "Bible Book Memorization" and "Bible Verses Memorization, for CBI's BD-101" were based upon.

I've packaged this software differently than my others. Though To HIS Glory "Flashcards" can be used to memorize anything; I've included templates for Cherith Bible Institute's Online courses for this semester (BI-101, PR-101, BD-101, and PR-103). The CBI.zip contains templates for lectures 1 thru 5 for BI-101, PR-101, BD-101, and PR-103. Check back weekly for new lecture templates as they come out.

To install this package; unzip in the "C:" drive, the root directory "C:\". The package will create a directory structure with HIS Glory "Flashcards", its documentation; and BI-101, PR-101, BD-101, and PR-103 templates.

The directory structure consists of:
  - C:\CBI
    - Study Aids
      - BD101
      - BI101
      - PR101
      - PR103

All you need to do to start using it is:

  1. Fill in the answers within each "*.txt" file in the course directory (i.e. BI10103.txt, for course BI-101, lecture 3). The answers are placed immediately after the questions' tilde '~', and must remain on the same line; using "Notepad.exe". See the readme.txt file within the CBI.zip for further details.
  2. When you finished filling in the answers, change the ".txt" file extension to ".fc" (i.e. "BI10103.txt" to "BI10103.fc").
  3. Change the file attribute to "Read-only". This will prevent accidently overwriting the file.
  4. Click on the shortcut provided to start To HIS Glory "Flashcards" with the appropriate file.
